Hey there @FonFixR As you suspected, unfortunately, at this time the new cash deposits feature requires access to balance section of the POS app. Yours is an outlier situation probably since most of us don’t want team members doing cash deposits for various reasons. Because of that, it probably just didn’t come up in the beta test. There were no sellers like you in that test.
This sounds like a perfect topic for a feature request. Just head over to the Ideate Board and submit it to the Square POS team. If you do submit it, post a link to the request here. I, for one, will like/upvote it.
