I accidentally closed my debit card, I spoke to representative and they said to order a new one that my square account is still active, I'm worried my direct deposit will be affected? It seems the new card has a different acct # but same routing#
Hey there @Amalley09. Are you saying that you closed/deactivated your SQUARE debit card? If so, no need to worry. I’m assuming that by “direct deposit” you are referring to your daily transfer of card sales to your bank. If so, that is done via ACH, which uses our account’s routing/account numbers, and which has nothing to do with our Square debit cards, since many sellers don’t use Square Checking/Debit cards at all.
