Ok since I’ve read threads about wait time and a lot of people asking I figure let’s make a new post,
I was 100% paid off beginning march and got an offer 4 days later, a bit higher than my first loan. How long did yall normally wait? I know every users are different, maybe this will help some people get better idea with wait time.
It is hard when we are all different and process different. I’m retail furniture store. For myself as an example if my numbers dip or I am close to an offer. I can run a 3 day blowout on floor models or whatever and boost the sales and metrics kick in. If you are in a say a business that has certain clients that you deal with regularly and offer your services it’s kinda hard to boost sales but to get yourself busy and get new clients. Same as online sales. You can gear them towards using square but most have the option of CC or using your bank. That’s why the algorithm is so important. It follows your business pattern and can detect a boost in new customers, more CC activity etc. This why most if not all use some sort of an algorithm to crunch numbers. If people actually stopped and looked up the numbers for Square which is public information you would see they are lending everyday all day worldwide and each year are lending more! I know that isn’t what people who are waiting want to hear but for a physical person to do this we would be lucky to get an offer once a year! It just isn’t possible. We have good Mods who do care they really do. But, people need to remember that this is a public forum and they can’t just say, “well Mr. Smith it looks like you’re sales are down 18% and you haven’t been very successful last week type of thing. That is your private account and nobody should know about it but you. So, if it seems they are just trying to give you that same ole script it’s for our protection on an open platform. I and others like myself can share our stories, tell you what is trending or something that needs work on in a general conversation and it’s just IMO type thing. Myself, I follow trends and what might help to kick in that algorithm to stop and look at you again type thing. User like us sharing our experiences and what you did different or are you just patiently waiting for when it’s your turn. When and if the algorithm picks up on you there is no guarantees. I do think IMO we can help it though. Thanks for posting and sharing your thoughts and ideas. I love seeing people brainstorming and sharing. Congrats again!

By reading through the threads I believe 4/5 loan boards going on. Have you started to see a pattern yet? I see you have picked up on the current trend. Which I believe IMO will stick with us. Loan 2-3/4 are the longest ones I waited on myself. You are just getting a good processing pattern, repayment history via swipes daily or invoices. Peak months and slower months. So many factors to fit you into the right loan size.
From what I’ve gathered it just hit random, if your paid off look out for a week or two, or if your higher percentage you’ll see something within two weeks
How long have you been with Square?
3 months, and on my second loan
That’s pretty good really. Congrats on that. Loan 2-4 were my longest ones. I was in the test pilot program for the first of the loans. And I don’t believe they had anything like the algorithm system they do now. Usually though (not every one of course) they tend to be higher % to paid off. Your new and the algorithm is crunching numbers for an offer that fits you and your processing history. Unfortunately, they don’t have a ton to go offer. I think if I remember correctly or I could go back and look around my 5/6 loan that’s when they started to really increase with each new offer and my business started taking off they did as well. Keep up the great job and pushing forward with whatever you’re doing.
I own a mechanic shop so business is steady right now, it’s peak season for oil changes and maintenance stuff
howare things going? Loans still coming in as you grow?
Hello, just checking in on you to see how things are going. I might have missed it were you able to settle any of the disputes? I did see a mod jump in and was aware of what was going on. I hope all is well and business is booming!
Hey, business is growing unfortunately I’m turning down a lot of big jobs til I get some good help around here, so far only dispute I had was the stolen credit card issue, and that lousy customer I had, he also just disputed every charge I’ve done to his vehicle, other than that just waiting on my lawyer to do his job and serve him some papers I’m taking it to court, that’s over 9k in repairs. I’m out a transmission, an engine, and a lot of labor. But other than that every thing so far so good, my loan is about paid off, but my metrics are completely gone, don’t know if these disputes have anything to do with it, but right now I’m not hurting just hope this customer get settled once and for all. Hope all is well with you
Glad to hear business is going good! You are in a great line of work that's for sure. Metrics are kinda hit and miss right now for some and others never missed a beat. I used to be more active on the Beta side and would keep up with things or changes happening but I am slacking there. I hear you on good help. Knock on wood I was very lucky this late spring for all summer with part-time help from some young 17-18 year old help till football practice started. Now, here I go again. I need 1-2 if possible. I don't have the most exciting positions to hire for either. Not too many look forward to loading and unloading furniture all day long. I hate that you have to go to court to get paid for your hard work smh unfortunately, it seems a few are posting the same issues of non-payments. The loan thing like you said is what it is and it will work itself out. At the rate you process, I am guessing sooner rather than later. Your prior history is building, everything was growing and the stats are amazing. Unfortunately, you have no control over what others do in this world. You are always so helpful in here and I like to check in on now and then. Good luck with everything and I mean that.
Thank you, hope all is well with you and good luck finding help, I pop in once and awhile to read, I try to reply but be so caught up at the shop staying really late and opening early mornings.
Thank you, I'll need help! All is going well with me thank you. I understand being busy and working sunup to sundown ugh, I'm getting too old for all that! I'd better get to hiring fast! 😆. You keep up the great job!
