I want to give my staff only to see the appointment calendar. However, square is forcing me to include square checkout. In the permission section i can't remove checkout option, check box is grayed out for me to deselect.
any suggestions?

Hi @ericmkr At this time, there is nothing to be done about this. I submitted this feature request recently. If you would, please upvote it. Other than that, for now, it is what it is, I’m sorry to say.
Beginning to see lots of limitations on square. Some are very simple and wonder why they made that decision to go that way. Thank you for the reply @TheRealChipA
Honestly @ericmkr in their defense it has only been this year that I’ve seen this issue crop up in the community. I’m not sure what changed. In my shop, I have such implicit trust of my employees I don’t think about this stuff much. But I get that not everyone is so lucky. Square employees might have had the same experiences 10+ years ago when Square was started. Or it might just be an oversight, given that it has only been recently raised as an issue. I wouldn’t be too harsh on them. Overall I still find Square to be the leader in a very confusing market.
I guess the type of business makes a difference as well. As for feature requests, where do you go to make suggestion? There are few things I would like to add to the request list.
