Greetings my square people!!! Are others having issues with the Square appointments app and texting from within it?  Im having to copy number and open text app within iPhone . Thanks!

Any idea when this will be updated? Thank you!

@EcoAutoClean I think there is a newer version 17.0.3 so I would update and also make sure to go into the play store into the app detail screen and make sure it is updated (I have seen some times where an update is there and it just doesn't push out immediately.).

Hello @EcoAutoClean ! 

From the screenshots you have attached, I'm not quite sure what the issue is, since that looks like Apple's native messaging app and not the Messages feature within the Appointments app.

Would you be able to send a screenshot of the Appointments app after you access the Messages feature?

Previous to ios17 I was able to open appointments app, click clients phone number, click SMS (sorry not messages within the app) and when it opens up sms on iPhone, there is no text box to type in. So now I have to copy number, go to my iPhone message app, create sms and paste number.

I can see that now. 

I tested with my iPhone and sure enough, the text box is not showing. 

I'm really sorry about this issue. 

It looks like it was reported to us by another seller and we are implementing a fix on our next update.
