Will square appointments be adding HIPAA compliant electronic medical records?

If I am going to start accepting BCBS health insurance for my Acupuncture clients, they require HIPAA compliant electronic medical records like Jane or Acuity provides. I do not want to have to switch, I like using square, so I am wondering if this feature will be added soon?

You can use square in a hipaa environment, you just have to ensure that you follow the rules.  From what I know, if you are talking about invoices and e-mails, I don't think those are encrypted, so if you send out unencrypted information, that could be problematic.  I am sure BCBS has a whole different billing and reimbursement process.  You might check here, I just know these integrations aren't cheap so it might not be worth it:
