Is square Messaging available in Australia for square appointments? I mean two way messaging between clients and staff . Google says this is a feature and I can pay for my own dedicated SMS number but I can’t find a way to activate this or access this option.

Great question! In Australia, Square Appointments includes automated SMS and email notifications for appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates. The ability to customise these messages — as well as the number of messages you can send — depends on your current subscription plan. Square Messages is a communication tool currently available to sellers in the U.S., allowing businesses to send and receive text messages and emails directly with their customers. While this feature isn’t available to Australian sellers just yet, if that changes in the future, we’ll be sure to share a public announcement with our Australian community.
