Sales reports on appointment app incorrect

My staff likes to look up their sales on the appointment app often. As of 2 weeks ago the reports are no longer showing staff sales correctly. Some things are bumped to untracked employee or just not showing at all. Everything is correct on the dashboard. I emailed customer support and they were no help they just kept sending me protocols that have nothing to do with the issue. Wtf lol.

  1. First, let's verify some basic troubleshooting steps:

    • Have all staff members logged out and back into their Square Appointments app?
    • Is everyone using the latest version of the Square Appointments app?
  2. This issue could be related to:

    • Staff permissions settings
    • App synchronization issues
    • Staff member linking problems
    • Recent Square system updates

Since you mentioned that everything shows correctly on the dashboard but not in the app, this suggests a synchronization or app-specific issue rather than a data problem.

 

Here are the recommended steps to resolve this:

  1. Immediate fixes for staff members:

    • Have each staff member completely close and restart the Square Appointments app
    • Check that they're signed in with the correct account
    • Ensure their device has a stable internet connection
  2. For you as the administrator:

    • Double-check staff permissions in your Square Dashboard
    • Verify that all staff members are properly linked to their appointments
    • Ensure staff roles and permissions haven't been accidentally changed

yes! logging out of the apps seems to have worked so far. thanks this was more helpful than the customer support email.
