Making Square work better with my Balloon Business

I am current square user (for about 6 years) we mainly use Square for retail. My biggest issue is that once a customer places an order for a later pick up date, we then have to copy and paste the order into our google calendar. I’m wondering if others have had luck using square appointments instead of the standard retail POS? I would imagine florists and bakeries have similar issues with the order usually being placed ahead of time and then picked up at a later date. It seems like we are creating extra steps. I’m hoping to streamline.
