Hi @rameshfreshart1

Square automatically includes a checkbox that says "I agree to the cancellation policy" if you have No-Show Protection or Prepayment enabled. You can edit the text that appears here to include your specific terms and conditions.

  • How to edit it:

    1. Go to your Square Dashboard > Appointments > Settings > Payments & Cancellations.

    2. Under Cancellation Policy, click Edit.

    3. Enter your custom text in the box. You can include your terms of service here so customers see them before they check the box.

    4. Click Save.

This is not a viable fix for presenting Terms & Services prior to an appointment. I HATE this work around and its created a lot of problems and unnecessary aditional contact points (like emailed contracts & or forms) for my customers.

much smoother process & UX in booking is to allow a full - "Have you read & do you accept company x's terms of service?" with a checkbox that has the funcationality to require this check prior to booking. The cancellation policy is JUST a single policy but there is soooooo much more that legally goes into a service.

How can Square make this happen? I've created a custom field for this but I can't make it a required field. Please fix asap! I have lots of business justification for why and will be happy to share it.
