Good evening, I received a message from a client asking to come in 15 minutes later to an appointment, and when I opened the app to respond (within seconds) I saw that Square had sent an automated response telling my customer they were not allowed to come in later. Specifically it said "[automated] According to the store's policy, it is too late to cancel or reschedule the appointment for today at 8:15 PM MST"
I'm sure this is good for some people, but it's not good for me. If I hadn't have been right on top of it to message my customer that they are allowed to come in, I may have lost the appointment entirely. I don't want this to ever happen again, ever.
I looked around and was unable to find a way to turn this off, but I probably missed it. Can someone point me to a way to turn this off?
Thanks!

Hey @BarkingIronOTP , turning off Square Assistant doesn't stop reminders and confirmations. It only turns off the [automated] texts. We ran into a similar problem previously and turned it off ever since.
To be clear, I don't mind the assistant sending reminders and asking for confirmations. But I don't want it responding to questions. There may be times I cannot budge on appointment times, but I often have wiggle room, and just because I have a cancellation policy doesn't mean I am inflexible to changes.

This is fantastic news, thank you for letting me know!
