Is there a way to add the day of the week in appointment reminders?

I would like to know if this can be added by me or is it something that needs to be created on the developers end first?   I have many clients that make appointments on the same day of the week. But they are not always available, so we have to choose a different day than they are used to, and then they get messed up and miss their appointments. So my request is, can we add in day of the week to appointment reminders?   So it would look like this when they receive their notice.   "Missy, your appointment with Nails by Missy is coming up on {{Tuesday}} 4/23 @ 5:00PM." 

 

Let me know.  This would be so helpful instead of just the date and time.

Hi @Nailsbymissyc. Since weekday name is not one of the dynamic variables we can use to customize our reminders, that would fall into the realm of a feature request.  You’ll need to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a request to the Appointments Team to add that variable to the list of dynamic variables for customizing reminders.  They will evaluate your request and determine if that is something they want to add to a future product roadmap.
