Is it Possible to Edit Appointments Reminder Verbiage?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: Reminder about an upcoming class says "Your appointment with ... is coming up"

A reminder about an upcoming class or an appointment is a very useful feature, however, it's not appropriate that the reminder says "Your appointment with .... is coming up". Is there a way to change this? It should say "Your class is coming up".

@Sammie_C @Minion I have explored the Communication settings before posting my original question. I am adding a screenshot of the Reminder. The Subject is greyed out. I tried and did not find a way to replace "appointment" with "class". Do you have further guidance on this? Many thanks!

Hey @Laura_B

Thanks for clarifying that.  Looking at it on my end unfortunately it does not look like the Subject line can be edited at this time (I wouldn't expect that to change, but you never know).   It is possible to add that as a feature request.

I guess maybe for the time being what I would do is simply write a little message in the message section something like, " Please click the link below to join the class" or similar..

Sorry I'm not able to help further.

I see what you are referring to @Laura_B. Unfortunately at this time, this section is not editable.

As @Minion mentions, posting your idea on Ideate as a Feature Request may be a good next step for you. With enough traffic on the post it can lead to eventual change from our project managers.

In the meantime, please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hey @Laura_B

You should be able to change this within your appointment settings.  If you navigate to Appointments from your Dashboard (doing so via computer).  Once in your appointments choose Settings > Communications.   Scroll down to custom notifications and look for the Reminder section.  Once there you can read through and change things to better suit your business. You can Edit edit the Email and SMS reminder.   Be sure to hit Save once finished.

Thank you, @Minion for checking on your end. At least I know that I am not missing something obvious. 😃 Yes, adding a message and a link in the body of the reminder sounds like the only option for now.
