I HAVE APROBLEM WITH APPOINTMENTS SERVICES....

I have a center of hair removal and facials treatments, the problem with the appointments is my customers booked online and not show up or canceled at the last min. I lost time and $$ because square not get the cc for charged after a fee. I try to charge first the clients don't let tips for the estheticians. Long time ago I have a problems with a charge fee ( not show up) the client refuse to pay the fee she never show up and never called for canceled, the bank protect her and square don't protect the business. We need square change this ASAP for help the small business. 

I have waxing hair removal and facials, the facials its expensive services we need to charge 50% fee and not refund, cause the clients book and at the last time canceled for not show up and not wants we charge later the fees. I WANT TO CHARGE THE FACIAL 50% FEE AND THE HAIR REMOVAL NOT NEED BECAUSE THEY CAN COME BY WALKINGS BUT WITH  FACIALS ARE DIFFERENT BECAUSE WE USED MANY PRODUCTS.

It sounds like you may not have set up a cancellation policy or no-show protection just yet, this should prevent future situations as you've described. 


To enable a cancellation policy:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your online Appointments dashboard.
  2. Select Calendar & Booking.
  3. Under “Online Scheduling,” toggle on Clients May Reschedule or Cancel their Own Appointments.
  4. Set a cut-off time, then click Save.

 

Once a cut-off time has been defined, you can also set up No-Show Protection by:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your online Appointments dashboard.
  2. Select Payments & Cancellations.
  3. Click Booking with No-Show Protection.
  4. Select whether you’d like to charge a flat fee per appointment, or choose to charge an individual fee for each service.
  5. Click Save.
