How to see class schedule and signups in the Team App

Hi I'm setting up yoga classes for my spa.  How can the yoga instructor see the class schedule from the Team app, guest signup count, and guest names for verification?  (The classes are held remotely from my main location.)  If this information cannot be accessed in the Team app, what's the best way for the class instructor to remotely get this information?  Thank you!

The Team App is designed for managing schedules and shifts, so it won’t display Appointments or Classes. For appointments-related info, staff would need to be set up with access to the Appointments POS, where they’ll be able to view and manage appointments if permissions are correctly assigned. Are you wanting to assign specific classes to instructors or simply want them to have viewing access?

I would like the class instructors to see the sign-up list for all scheduled classes without seeing anything else not related to their core function -- no info/visibility into any other scheduled service or function.

@samkw, I appreciate the clarification, and I apologize for the delay. I wanted to confirm this with our Square Appointments team to ensure I provide you with the most accurate information.

To ensure staff members can only view their own appointments, this setting will also apply to classes.

 

Here's how it works:

 

  1. If you’ve set up permissions for staff to see only their own appointments, they will also only be able to view the classes they are assigned to as instructors.
  2. As a staff member with this permission, you’ll be able to see the classes on the calendar that you're teaching, but you won’t be able to view appointments for classes booked with other staff members.
  3. If a staff member is booked for a class, they will no longer appear as available for other services.
  4. To view the signup list for a class, simply click on the class on the calendar, and it will show the details for the class you're teaching.
