How to mass merge duplicates in customer directory?

I've been using square for transactions since 2012, but just started using Appointments after Schedulicity (what I've been using) sold out to Vagaro. After importing my database into Square from Schedulicity I have at least over 1000 duplicate profiles, and I've been manually merging each one I come across, some that have as many as 4 profiles that need to be merged. Is there a way to do a mass merge across my entire client directory? I've already slimmed it down from 2500 to 2000, with more to go. I've spent countless hours of my time that I'll never get back. Please help?

Goto your Customer Directory on a Computer at https://squareup.com/login 

Then Scroll down To Marketing and Loyalty.... wait for the Pop out window and Click Customer Directory.

Once the Customer Directory window opens select Customer Directory.

Then you should have a Red warning asking if you want to Merge Duplicates.  For me mine suggests I have possibly 3 Duplicates thatis can merge for me.

 

Other wise export your Directory and using a Spreedsheet you can filter by any header to remove duplicates faster and not opening and closing windows and saving etc in Square.  Some Spreadsheets can even Remove duplicates, but becareful doing this as the Name might be the same but 2 different customers.... also the Same customer could have 2 or more creditcards that Square created a 'New Customer' for.
