How do I add business location to sms and email notifications when customers book online

Hey there I have two locations and want my customers to easily see the right location when they book their appointment. So far there’s no variable option to add each unique location to the square business accepted appointment and reminders. How do I do this?

Welcome to the Community! 

 

Normally, whenever an appointment reminder and confirmations are sent to the customers, it will list the business location and any other location information. Just like a receipt. 

As of now, there can only be one location for your Online Booking site. What you're looking for would actually be a Feature Request

This is definitely a good feature request! Makes total sense to be able to do this for multiple locations and I'm surprised it doesn't already exist!

 

One work around I've seen is having different booking links for each location (not ideal but seems to be the same with other platforms too). For example this one is using Timely and using separate booking links: https://theelectricchairbarbershop.com.au/pages/book-an-appointment 

 

Other potential ideas could be:

  • Adding location to the service name but this could get messy
  • Adding explanation to the email / SMS notifications but again could be confusing
