How To Setup 'Booking an Appointment Request'

I want to offer clients to request booking but make it a request until I confirm. I am just starting out and while I have my evenings open for booking there might be scenarios where I can’t commit to allowing the client to formally book.  I’d rather have them request a booking in a certain day and time, pending my confirmation. Is that possible?

Hi @Blhearing, thank you for reaching out and I wanted to welcome you to the Square Community too!

 

You can adjust your appointment settings to require appointment acceptance. Then your appointment requests appear as pending until you accept or decline them. These are displayed on both your calendar through your Square Dashboard and the Square Appointments POS app. They also will be visible on the overview section of your Square Dashboard.

 

To get these types of appointments set up, please feel free to follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Appointments.

  2. Click Settings > Calendar & Booking.

  3. Under the Online Booking Preferences section, select Business must accept or decline all appointment requests next Reservation Guarantee.

  4. Click Save.
