Highlighting classes booking flow on Square Online

When will we have the functionality to highlight classes, or at least the whole class booking flow, on our Square Online website the way I can highlight items, events and other services?

I really need to be able to create some sort of page where people know they can book classes. At the moment I'm having to use events or packages instead of classes just so people can see them on the correct website pages. Unless I've already spoken to a customer and explained how to book classes they don't automatically know to go onto the Book Now appointment booking flow and then click on the classes tab, and there is no way for me to select to automatically show classes first.

As a result I'm only using the classes feature for recurring classes for people who are customers already, so I can explain to people how to book first.

Ideally there would be options like there are for Services, to show

- all classes as a list or in calendar form

- all classes by a certain staff member

- all upcoming of one particular class

- an individual class on a particular date

- all classes in a category

Ideally these would have the option to add a date range (eg. just one month ahead or 3 months ahead) but to be honest even just being able to highlight that the classes section exists at all would be an improvement!

Thank you for your feedback, @AnnaBYLY. I can definitely see how this added functionality would be beneficial for Classes.

Here is a workaround you might want to consider: you could try adding a sub-navigation link to your navigation bar that links directly to your class booking page to make your classes more visible on your Square Online site.

To set this up:

  1. Navigate to the class booking page on your website and copy the URL from the address bar.
  2. Log in to your Square Dashboard and go to: Sales Channels > Online > Website > Edit Site.
  3. In the site editor, select the navigation header bar on your homepage and click Edit Links > + Add Navigation Links.
  4. Select Link to > External Link and paste the class booking page URL into the URL field.
  5. Assign a title to the link, such as "Book a Class".
  6. Click Save and Publish.

Once the steps above are completed, you’ll have an additional heading on your home page navigation bar (e.g., “Book a Class”) that links directly to your class booking page. This page will display your upcoming classes in both list and calendar date formats.

Sorry I couldn’t provide more options here–if you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.
