I see that many people have already asked about this feature over the past few years, and I noticed the support team’s reply that the team is planning to work on it. That’s exactly why I want to submit my own request and explain why the coupon feature in Square Appointments is so important for me.
I own a small nail salon where I recently launched an apprenticeship program. My apprentice is now preparing to see their very first clients. The training program is designed so that apprentice clients don’t pay a completely “different” price but instead receive a structured discount—for example, 60% off at first, then 75% off, and gradually moving toward 100% of the service cost once the apprenticeship program is complete. This kind of system is also much easier for clients to understand than simply offering an alternative “lower” price.
Additionally, a neighboring salon has hired a new technician and is trying to build their client base by offering an introductory discount for first-time appointments with their new professional. Both my salon and theirs use a 100% prepayment system, so the ability to apply coupons directly in Square Appointments during online booking would be an excellent solution for both of us.
