I would like a hybrid concept for my barber shop, renting (self employed) or commission. Is that possible thru square appointments
@Jruiz461 That would be a tough set up, because on 1 hand you are running a business and paying your barbers, but are also just renting space. I am assuming you want to just share 1 appointment book. From a taxes/compliance/who knows what I am not a barber..that it is tough to share an appointment system and still have the money go separate ways. Maybe if you set up each station as a location you could then tie each location to a different bank account, but it would still be all your business. If they are renting, I would think you would just set them up as 1099 100% commission or something like that so all their money is taxed to them, but you would still have to pay them (make sure to charge the processing fee if you don't factor it into the spot rent). Either way you would have to pay them as a business if you want to share 1 website so to speak.. Another super seller may have to chime in since I am not as good on retail.
Yes, I think doing 100% commission for the renters and 50% for the others is gonna be the way to go. Obviously With 1099s and processing fees. Thank you
