Can I change the phrase "Appointment notes (optional)" to another?

Can I change the phrase "Appointment notes (optional)" to another in the square appointment procedure?

Hi @najioh68.  You can not change any of the labels to something else.  You didn’t say what you wanted to collect instead, so I can’t add much else like a possible work-around.  But I can say that, currently, the appointment notes label is fixed.

I noticed someone wanted to be able to edit the appointment notes (optional), to require extra details instead, back in 2019. It seems Square still hasn't done anything about this issue and it's a total make or break for my business as I need to know extra details on my clients pets before accepting their appointments. It seems like such a simple fix, is this something that can be implemented in the future??

@Starae There is obviously no way that we here in the Square Sellers Community would know if this is something that can be implemented in the future.  And the moderators are not permitted to reveal anything about Square’s plans and roadmap.  Since this is a total make or break for your business, you should head over to the Square App Marketplace and look at the third party apps there that integrate with Square.  There are a number of appointment management apps and I’d bet that at least one of them has the capabilities that you need for your business.  No matter how simple a fix might seem, if it hasn’t been made in four years it would seem wise to look elsewhere rather than continuing to wait, especially if it is something that is make or break for your business.

I wish you well.
