Booking more than one of the same service

The Square booking works great and gives me an advantage against my competitors who still require clients to call and book an appointment. However, there is one glitch that seems to have been a problem for years (based on old posts) and I don't know why it can't be change. 

Clients can book a large groom and a small groom in the same appointment, no problem, but they can't book two small or two large grooms. Many people have two dogs, so this is a problem. It's embarrassing and inconvenient because I tell people to use the system, then it doesn't work for them. My current workaround is for them to book for one dog then add a note that it is two dogs. 

I have no problem adding multiples of the same service on my end, it just doesn't work on the customer's end. Do any of you have this problem? Is there a section in this community like a wish list for changes to the software?

I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your clients can’t book multiple services of the same type (like two small grooms or two large grooms) in one session. You’re correct, at this time, customers can only book one instance of a single service per appointment through the online booking site. I know that’s limiting, especially for businesses like yours that often serve multiple pets at once. The workaround you’re using (having clients book one service and add a note) is currently the best option, but we absolutely understand this isn’t ideal. We’ve had the same challenge in our business and found a workaround that might help others.

Using the service options, we've created a workaround to essentially offer:

• Haircuts (service)
  • Regular (option)
  • Two Haircuts (option)

You can see it in action here.

It’s not perfect, but it keeps the process smooth for our customers and avoids confusion. And doesn't rely on notes or messing up calendar times that essentially need to be blocked out properly to suit!

Thanks for logging a feature request for this too! I've kudosed it! The ability for customers to select multiples of the same service would be a game-changer for businesses like grooming, salons, and any service-based sellers who often serve more than one client in a single appointment.

Recent enhancements to the booking tool definitely feel its heading in the right direction though, previously it wasn't great even adding multiple services, so I feel like they've really set this up now to be able to add enhancements like this soon.
