Booking more than one of the same service

The Square booking works great and gives me an advantage against my competitors who still require clients to call and book an appointment. However, there is one glitch that seems to have been a problem for years (based on old posts) and I don't know why it can't be change. 

 

Clients can book a large groom and a small groom in the same appointment, no problem, but they can't book two small or two large grooms. Many people have two dogs, so this is a problem. It's embarrassing and inconvenient because I tell people to use the system, then it doesn't work for them. My current workaround is for them to book for one dog then add a note that it is two dogs. 

 

I have no problem adding multiples of the same service on my end, it just doesn't work on the customer's end. Do any of you have this problem? Is there a section in this community like a wish list for changes to the software?

Labeling core functionality gaps as 'feature requests' with no timeline is no longer acceptable. There is a deep disconnect between Squareโ€™s development team and the reality of running a business. Square Appointments needs a major overhaulโ€”not new 'shiny' features, but fixes for the basic tools weโ€™ve been asking for for years. Business owners shouldn't have to fight their POS system to get work done. If Square doesn't start prioritizing these 'requests,' users will move to platforms that do.


Business owners need things to work so they can focus on the business and if it comes to a point we get frustrated and switch.

I know its not the most positive response but I think Square Appointments especially needs a wake up call and improve, 
The lack of basic functionality is unrealistic

I have a similar issue. I had a mother who wanted to book haircuts for her 2 young boys, and she was telling me that she couldnโ€™t select the same services multiple times. I told her that I would look into it, but after a few hours of trying to find a setting to change , I couldnโ€™t find anything. The interesting part about this is that I can add the same services on my end, no problem. Please add this feature in a future update.
