BC Canada appointment times wrong after November 1

Because of British Columbia no longer changing time from daylight savings back to standard time in November my appointments are all an hour later than they should be starting November 1st. I really need this resolved asap but when I asked support they just said they were working on it.

i’m not sure what to do in the mean time with clients starting to book that far in advance

Hi @amberdiduch, from checking with the team, the online Square Dashboard and online booking should support Manitoba's new timezone rules. Please check your business settings to make sure the right timezone is selected for your business.

For mobile apps: I'm waiting to confirm when we can expect the next app update, as the team is working to include this in the latest software version.

BC Canada here as well. Calendar page is saying "Calendar time zone (-08) differs from business time zone (PDT)." And I can't find Pacific Time Zone - British Columbia (Vancouver) options in the Setting.

App is updated to 7.28 and I am in a website page for adjustment.

Our POS system is showing central daylight time and is working fine.
but our iPad app and my staffs app on their phones does not have an option for central daylight time.
only central time (winnipeg) which is showing an hour later for all appointments.
Still not fixed!!! Is yours?

Ours is still not fixed. The POS register and our square calendar apps on phones are showing the correct times, it is just our desktop computer that is off by an hour. Both of them are set to Central Time Winnipeg. We decided to turn off all email/text reminders because they are giving the wrong time. I'm so anxious for November 1st. I did phone square a few days ago, but they do not have answers yet.

If it helps anyone:

1.) switched my time zone to pacific time BC Canada (thank you square for adding the option).
2.)Turned off client choosing time zones on online booking

3.)toggle all of my open hours to closed on schedule

4.) reset open hours on schedule

5.) take a sigh of relief and celebrate conquering the robots. Humanity wins again!

I'm having this same issue in Manitoba. I have spent 3 hours trying to find a solution and still no luck!

I know. It’s so frustrating. I’ve noticed they’ve added “central time (Manitoba)” which is new. But it’s still incorrect. We need “central daylight time (Manitoba)*. I’m so confused as to why they haven’t fixed this and why it’s so difficult. But it has been an absolute nightmare going into our busiest season as a hair salon and we have no idea if the appointments are correct or not or what is going to happen when they do fix it and it resets.
Im definitely going to be demanding some sort of compensation when this is all fixed. They have not been helpful at all when I’ve called for updates or help. Makes me want to switch providers.

Mine seems to be working now (Alberta).
What I did was:
Sign out of all devices.
Checked that my laptop itself was set to my time zone.
Logged in via google chrome.
Made sure my Account Settings were correct time zone
(Dashboard-Settings-Time Zone)
Made sure my business location is also set to my correct time zone
(Dashboard-Settings-Locations-Click on Business- Click on Edit- Scroll to Business Hours- Check Time Zone).

Now all of my notifcations and times are sent out correctly.
However, I have since logged in again via the app on my phone (all looks correct), but also redownloaded the square appointments app on my laptop) and that app has errors (duplicates) on the appointments from clients with rotating schedules- so I am only using chrome and my phone for now.

I hope this helps someone else out!

Anyone in Manitoba found a fix??? Appointments are still showing an hour later than they should, and reminders are showing an hour later than they should and are also in EST time zone despite updating timezone on all our devices and in our settings. SOS

Still nothing! They are telling us to manually change all the appointments. But are still working out a fix. So what happens when they fix it they will all be wrong again. They were like oh. Okay we are still working on it. Literally zero help.
