Available Times No Longer Visible on Mobile App

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: No longer see times available on mobile app

 

When rebooking clients I have to click every single day to see if anything is available that day. Available days used to appear in bold and full days were greyed out.  Very frustrating! Please put back available days feature or tell me how to fix!

Hi @ShannonNaftz, we appreciate your post. I see you are new the Square Community, I wanted to say welcome!

 

I understand that this could be very frustrating. Have you tried any troubleshooting on your app? Could you please give these few steps a try?

 

Square Appointments Troubleshooting:

  • Ensure you are logged in to both the Square Appointments and Square Point of Sale app with the same email and password.

  • Update your mobile device and Appointments app.

  • Log out of the app and sign back in.

  • Turn your mobile device off and then back on.

  • Force-quit the app.

  • Be sure to enable the permissions requested when you open the Appointments app.

  • Delete and reinstall the app. See Apple’s support site and Google’s support site for instructions on how to do so.

 

Let me know if this changes anything for you and I can take another look.

I've completed all the bullet points, it's still the same. On the desktop version I can search next available appointment and the days still are greyed out if full and bold if something is available.  You can also search by 1-6 weeks. I still have to click the day individually to see any times available.  Maybe it was taken off the latest update but I don't like it, adding additional steps booking.

As well as, I see you mentioned this occurring through you desktop version, but have tried through iOS or Android?

It's only on my mobile android app. It's perfect on my laptop but I don't use that at work to check out or book people. I'll dm screenshots

After I click book next, then click the date,/time which defaults to today's, it shows the calendar. No matter what month the dates are all normal font. No bold so I know dates w available appointments and no "find next available" option button.

There's been no fix on my end, still frustrating. also discovered that by having my appointments open for say 3 months in advance, I also can't see availability after 3 months and I have to custom add client times. App has the same issues on my tablet so not a phone issue.  Desktop version is great but I don't use it at work! Hopefully next update will resolve.

I am sorry to hear you are still experiencing this, @ShannonNaftz. I went ahead and reached back out to our Appointments team to take a look.

 

They were asking for some clarification, how far out do you allow clients to book? If you have clients able to book out 3 months, then that would be the timeframe you would be able to see.

Checking back in on this, @ShannonNaftz! Our Appointments team said that a fix for this is to be fully released in the 6.70 update, which is scheduled to be released on May 28.
