I am new to Square appointments and have the square appointment app. An issue that I am having is that I currently have 3 ways that clients can book appointments with me (3 different businesses) As an example - my coaching business uses Calendly to synch to my google calendar. I also work for a company that uses their own appointment setting system that books with my google calendar.
The challenge I am having is that when square books an appointment it adds it to my google calendar but makes the appointment under a square calendar within google. This is a problem as that does not block my google calendar so both Calendly and the other system think that I have that time slot available and therefore I could end up with a double booking. Is there a plan to have an option in the future for booking on the google calendar? Since Calendly does this I know it is technically possible but is seems that square did not design this as part of the process or as an option. Its a real problem as I constantly have to monitor when a booking comes in from Square and then manually switch it to the google calendar.
Hi @Raef. I have heard nothing about any plans to do this. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen this being suggested before. So, I’m going to recommend that you submit a formal feature request here. Just paste the text from this post there exactly as you have it here. Your business use case makes a compelling argument. Good luck!

Thanks for directing them to the feature request board, @TheRealChipA !
