Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm a block print artist who sometimes sells online, though usually at art shows/conventions.
Hi my name is Diane and I am a new business owner in Ephrata PA. I do digital restoration on photographs. Mostly old ones. I did my very first square transaction today. Six dollars!!! Oh my. You’ve got to start somewhere. I’m a one woman business. No employees, looking to keep learning and needing a little fellowship from other women who are trying to take care of themselves. I lost my job so decided at age 62 to go out on my own. I have learned so much in the past two months. It’s been fun and scary
Hi Diane. Welcome to the group.
🎉 Congratulations on starting your own business and completing your first transaction! 🎉
I'm sorry you lost your job, but I'm happy that you decided to go out on your own. Even though it's fun and scary - I can relate - I enjoy the freedom of it. What about you?
What did you do before you decided to enter the photo restoration business?
Congratulations on this new venture, Diane!
Hello everyone! I'm Vicky. I currently reside in Louisiana and I sell a variety of items. Currently, I'm in the process of putting my website together which will take some time due to working and other responsibilities. I'll share my website later on once it's up and running. Best of luck to everyone.
Let's take a minute to welcome our newest members. I hope you're all safe and well.

Hi I'm Robin and excited to be a part of the togetHER Community. I love learning from women business owners and hope to be able to contribute to make Square even better.
I've introduced Square to my current and previous employers so it's natural that I started using it when I opened my own business.
I sell my upcycled, hand-made jewelry online and at handmade markets and craft shows. Many of those shows unfortunately have been cancelled or have been turned into Virtual shows due to current events.
Like so many of us, we are just trying to stay afloat ⛵!
Mitten Beach Designs started on the shores of Lake Michigan in 2019. Being a former teacher, I’ve always LOVED creating. My love of creating lead me to discover hand-stamping on metal & recycled belt pieces. Leather and metal make a very special combination. Together, they inspired the birth of Mitten Beach Designs. I live along Lake Michigan in SW Michigan and travel all over the midwest to share my jewelry.
I find inspirational and motivational words, hand-stamp them & attach them on pieces of recycled belts! This upcycled jewelry is then crafted into bracelets, necklaces, earrings, keyrings/bag tags.
Each piece is hand-made with love and attention to detail. These are truly uniquely one of a kind pieces of fun jewelry just like YOU! My goal is to encourage people to discover meaningful words for their daily life journey.
I created my website MittenBeachDesigns.com using Square/Weebly and found it very easy to use. I’m also on Facebook and Instagram. I have a Twitter account but can’t seem to grow it. Anyone else use Twitter for business? Thanks 😊
Welcome @MittenBeach! Delighted to have you here and thanks for letting us know all about your business. Your site looks great (I'd like to go to the beach now please ☀️) - and your 'Bring Your Own Belt' concept is such a good idea!
I see you're interested in growing your following on Twitter/social media. It might be worth starting a new thread about it here in togetHER. I think it's something that lots of folks would like to discuss!
Hi I am Kate from Kate's place in San Jose Ca. Its a salon suite, I am a hairstylist, and with the Covid19 shutdown STILL in place for CA I became an e-commerce business. I sell Unite hair products, pink pewter hair accessories, as well as a few tops, from Brands like Naked Zebra! The hair head bands have hooks on the side, which allows you to hook your mask so it does not have to rest on your ears! I really like selling online however I am not super tech savvy so a lot of trial and error. I hope to read about you all and gain some business and technology insight! Can't wait to chat it up!
Welcome @KatesPlace! It sounds like you've had to learn a lot over the last few months and I'd love to hear more about switching to an eCommerce business (you are not alone!). I'm sure it has been challenging but I hope you can take a minute to acknowledge everything you've achieved!

Thank you for accepting me into the group. I own a small DME and natural parenting store located in Virginia. I have been in business in some form or another since 1998. I started using Square when It first came out and eventually integrated It into my site which is on the Big Commerce platform. Just trying to stay afloat currently.
