Weebly App Access

I created a test website to check some functionality. For clarity I never published the test website. There were no warnings or messages to suggest that i will never be  able to delete the test website/online store and this would in fact wipe off all my historical data for the published site e.g. site visits etc.  and also won't allow me to log in to the weebly app every again. Apparently the weebly app does not support accounts with multiple sites.

 

I reached out to customer support and i get a standard response - We can not delete a site. I have never heard of situation where the system owner i.e. Weebly can not make changes at the back end.

 

I cannot understand why does Weebly/Square Up allow people to create a second website if they can't delete it or at lease give people a warning that this would cause issues that they will never be able to reverse.

 

I am now stuck with a profile  for the next 12 months with two websites (one that i don't need) , no app access and have also lost all historical data.

 

In a time when Square Up would be helping and support small business they are making it difficult for start up businesses to operate. If you ask Square Up a question they send it to Weebly and then it takes 2 days to get a response. 

 

Absolutely disappointed and frustrated by the service.

While this is something we're not able to trouble further via Square's Community forum, I do note you have an active Weebly support case open via email and their support agent has replied on 19/8 requesting further info about the situation -  I recommend replying to this email ASAP to continue troubleshooting the issue with Weebly! They're definitely best placed to support and resolve issues such as this.

I am having the SAME issue.  I have 2 sites and can not log into the app. Is there a resolution?

It looks like the Weebly app doesn't support multiple sites at the moment, however this functionality should be coming down the track. I'm not sure whether this may be something Weebly can help with though - I'd recommend reaching out to support to see if this is something that can be altered on their end. You can contact Square support, who will be able to transfer your case to Weebly support, via this form.

 

In the meantime everything should still be accessible via your Square Online Dashboard. Apologies for the inconvenience here!
