@New_touch We mainly deal with the point of sale and square products here for retailers, but I know with debit/credit cards it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours for refunds to post back to an account. That doesn't take into account holidays where banks are closed (yea, I know they get your money 24/7 but are slow to give it back) like Monday for labor day. In your situation it is usually completely dependent on the merchant (Home Depot) to process the refund before it goes back on your card (in your account). So 1 to 3 days is not uncommon.
