Square Account Verification

Hi, I have been using my square reader for a couple of months now, and the company needs my account verification and is asking for my business documents. I am trying to upload my document but it takes forever and still doesn't upload. I tried calling the customer service and then they ask me to enter a customer code, which I am unable to get. Is there any way to contact the customer service? I really need help to get this fixed!

Thanks for writing in to our community, and sorry to hear about the trouble you're seeing uploading your documents. 

 

Which device and browser are you using when trying to upload your files? We recommend using a computer, and supported browser such as Google Chrome. Also keep in mind that your uploaded documents must be:

  • PDF, JPEG, JPG, TIFF or PNG file format
  • Under 25mb in file size (each).

 If you're still having trouble, reach our team on 1800 760 137 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time). You won't need a customer code when calling during business hours. Alternatively, reach out to the team via online chat or email:

 

1. Sign in to your Square account

2. Head to our contact page https://squareup.com/help/au/en/contact

3. Click on any topic, then "I don't see my issue"

4. Click "Message us" or "Email us"

 

Or, if you see the new chatbot help flow, type "support" to bring up a list of contact methods.

Hi,

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, I think that the browser was the issue as I was using Safari, which took ages and still didn't upload my document. But, I just used Google Chrome and my document uploaded in literally a second!

And actually I have another issue that before this verification popped up, I had some balance in my square account which disappeared and became $0, and my square account didn't show any further transactions I made, after this verification showed up. The verification page now says that 'Square' will get back to me in 1-2 business days. Will I be able to retrieve my balance after my documents are verified?
