Re: Square Holding Funds

I have been waiting for the same for Over a month. We had weather issue in town which caused a power outage for 10 days and my employees food got spoiled. Square is holding +$10.000 and I have not been able to pay my people. Were you able to get a solution if so any advice I should take?

On March 19th, my account was blocked, and I've been instructed to wait multiple times. Unfortunately, this delay is having severe consequences for my employees and their families. It has been a month already. We've recently faced a devastating situation due to a power outage. The situation is dire: my employees have been severely impacted by the recent weather-related power outage, which resulted in ten days without electricity and significant food spoilage. They're struggling to make ends meet.

As their employer, I'm obligated to pay them, but Square's inaction is preventing me from doing so. I've provided the necessary documentation to verify my account, but it remains frozen. I've been given case numbers, these have yielded no progress. I've been told to wait, but I can no longer afford to do so. My employees are counting on me, and I'm counting on Square to release the funds.


Notably, I have two accounts with Square, and only one of them – the one with the majority of my funds and my taxes balance – has been blocked. 

They say they will contact me but not even one email or call has been received. I do not know what else to do. It is very frustrating.
