Re: Feature Request: Request billing address with shipping address during online checkout

Go back to your other system. We (also a restaurant) recently had enough information to file criminal charges against a customer committing chargeback fraud. They were actually arrested. Square refused to help in any stage of the process - it was information provided by Doordash (through white label delivery) to me directly and an offer of advanced legal support through a specific legal department that allowed us to have the guy arrested. Square, by contrast, was proud to openly stand with card fraudsters and the banks that facilitate their behaviors. Our proof was absolute and concrete, yet Square refused to give us any information on the issuing bank that rejected our challenge for us to file a complaint with the Federal Reserve and other regulatory agencies for facilitating outright fraud. Square chooses to cry "privacy policy" when you need information and turns around and refuses to adopt realistic changes to curb fraud with simplistic changes merchants are begging them to do in threads like this. It's gotten so bad we're considering moving to Doordash Storefront now that they dropped all monthly fees which makes it competitive against Square Online.

You just scared the heck out of my kbundy9....I sell some items that are between $500-1000 and I have NO protection or support from Square at all.  "Make us money!" seems to be their *only* goal.  I will be trying to find out how to move to another payment processing service as well.  Crossed fingers there is a better option out there.
