I have a business checking account in town. My soon to be ex-wife has access to this. Checks written to my business can't be cashed or deposited anywhere else. Or can Square let me deposit a check to my company? So anyway I deposited the check in my local bank, and I just used my debit card from that bank, in my company name, swiped it and put it in my Square account. So what is the big deal? My dashboard says the money went in. but I cant use it yet. It says it is available but it also says it is 'processing'. Does that mean that it might get sent back to my local bank? I just tried to use my Square card to make a purchase and it was declined for insufficient funds, ie the money in processing is NOT available. I'm wondering what is going to happen because I have to know if it's going back to my local bank so I can get it out asap by going there in person and writing a counter check. My local bank dashboard shows the money has been withdrawn. thx.
