Right now…. The fact that almost $8,000 was stolen(fraud) from my square banking account last week and I have heard nothing from square. I am using other money to pay my rent for my space and get supplies. Money was spent out of my square banking account in Trinidad and Tobago. I wasn’t notified at all by square until I had less than $200 remaining in the account and due to that one of the transactions was declined. I was using my card in Charlotte, NC, while it was also being used for over 20 transactions in another country!!!! I then find out that square is known for siding with the merchants on these issues! I had to file a dispute for each and every transaction and have also run up a huge telephone bill as I try to also speak to the merchants to try to get my money back! I haven’t slept in over a week. I only moved my money from my old bank to square due to the interest rate. I didn’t realize my money wouldn’t be safe and that when I call to find out what’s going on, I get attitudes from the representatives. One even suggested I gave my PIN number out. It’s disgusting!!!!
