Offline payments during disruption

We had to accept offline payments during the outages to keep our small business running and are concerned the outage won't be fixed in time before the 24hr hold on transactions expire (from 12:23pm 9/09).

 

Will the hold on offline transactions be extended while the outage is ongoing? If not, how will there be reimbursement for money lost during the outage?

far out, literally just emailed support with this query. They're not showing up in my transactions list anymore, either.

Some of my customers cancelled their orders because they had been waiting too long for the payment processing.

I'm concerned about this too.
I have 27 transactions just sitting there refusing to complete.
I waited until the system seemed to be working again, rebooted the terminals, turned wifi off and on, but the transactions are still sitting incomplete.

They will expire in 24 hours.

The 24 hour phone support is unavailable. online chat is unavailable, and email says a 24-48 hour response time. I don't have 24 hours, I have much less now, some of these transactions are already 9-10 hours old.

Same issue here! we have more than 50 transactions still being unprocessed.Can't seem to contact customer service and worried what happened after tomorrow.

Any ideas?

should we take a photo of each transaction in case anything happen after 24 hours?

I have 398 transactions from today totalling $8796.60 just sitting there. From 7am Saturday the 24hr window starts to expire. 
we had about 540 transactions sitting there but around 6pm 142 of them went through..but then they stopped. Now nothing. No way to contact Square. No idea what’s going to happen. An amazing day of trade in our bakery, now it might all go down the drain.

We got an email today saying some of the offline transactions were declined 😡

Did anyone else get the same email?

Yes, of the 120 or so transactions we had go through yesterday we have so far had 3 decline. Hoping we find out what can be done about this.
