I have been a Weebly Pro user since 2008. I assumed that I still was until I started getting odd emails about my "free" plan and how I needed to pay in order to keep my sites active. I logged in to weebly to find that yes, my sites were now categorized as free. I then I investigate my email and see that in October, weebly had sent me a message stating:
Scott, your Weebly Pro subscription is about to expire!
Your billing information needs to be updated
Your billing information is out of date and your Weebly Pro Account will expire soon unless you act now.
However, my billing info was already up to date, the proof being that weebly successfully charged me for my domain last year with that exact billing info. So just now I went to look at renewing my Pro plan and was shocked at the 500% price increase? Here's the math:
Since 2008 I have paid about $70 every 2 years to keep my Pro plan. This Pro plan covered both of my websites. Now, the Pro plan will cost $216, and because each website seems to now need it separately, the final cost is $432? From $70 to $432 is an over 500% price hike. Please tell me I'm mistaken...
