First instant transaction how long did it Take two go into the bank

How long did it take for your first instant transaction to reach your bank account. Did my first transaction and was charged a fee but still not in my bank

@Snatchedbodybyc The money is in the balances section of your account.  You have to manually initiate a transfer to your linked bank account.  There are a few ways to do this.

 

Log into your online dashboard.  You will see the balance of funds in your account that can be transferred.  You can initiate that from here, either for 1-2 day deposit (depending on your bank), or for an extra 1% for immediate deposit IF you have a linked debit card.

 

You can also go into the Square App, then got More/Balance.  Again, the balance available will show here and you can push a few buttons to initiate the transfer.

@Snatchedbodybyc I might have misunderstood your question.  If you initiated an instant transfer, it should happen within the hour.  Most of mine, when I’ve needed to do one, took less than 15 minutes.

 

So to clarify…. Customer transactions are NEVER instantly transferred to your bank.  ALL transactions are put in your balances and you can transfer those to your bank either regularly (1-2 days) or instantly (which is more or less instantly).

 

The point is that YOU must initiate all transfers.  I initiate mine every night at close of business.

So I am new to this square app but I see an active sale and I did do the instant transfer a few hour ago. But don’t see it in my balance nor my bank account. I then went ahead and opened up a square checking account hoping that it would be easier and still nothing. Ugh. So much routes to take to get money

That helps.  So, if I understand, your bank website is not showing the instant transfer, but Square is showing they initiated it.  Most likely, this is because it is the weekend and your bank has different weekend rules.  Yes, I know.  Stupid, but it happens.  FYI it should NOT be in your Square balance if they honored the instant transfer.  It should be in process.  I’d recommend the following:

 

  1. Call Square Support at (855) 700-6000 To verify that they sent the money to your bank immediately.  They can probably give you a tracking/tracing number.
  2. Call your bank, if they are open on weekends, and see what’s going on.  Hopefully it is just that they don’t update customer’s accounts until the next business day, but otherwise everything is fine.  If not, there are lots of banks in the world!

I’d say “pray” but that’s not helpful.  Is your Square balance now zero?
