Square email marketing messages are constantly flagged by email providers as fishing emails, see attached picture for example.
This is down to the email address not being linked to the from name.
This forms the basis of any basic email marketing system, Mailchimp, Klaviyo etc all allow custom 'from' email addresses. This massively increases deliverability.
Could this be introduced to Square Marketing?
The Square Marketing system is very geared around Square branding - I can only assume to push Square as a consumer recognised brand in the future, as a user of your system we would much prefer a more white-labelled solution, even if this was at an extra cost. Hosted sign up forms on our own domain, in our own brand colours etc.
It is shown that white-labelled marketing systems have better sign-up and retention rates, as the customer is more likely to trust the business they are signing up to than a third party provider.
I'd like to know if at the bare minimum there are any plans to change the from email address, or any possibility of further white labelling options going forward.

Thanks for your patience here @SimonH.
Our team confirmed that editing the email address from which promotions are being sent is a feature request at this time.
I have shared your feedback with them, and I'll be sure to let you know if we plan on releasing this feature.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have further questions.
Any update on this feature request?
