Check, Cheque, and the right way to write a date

Up front I'll admit I'm getting kind of old and I'm from Canada so ... sorry for any offense this may cause!

Check = ✔️
Cheque = 💸

Sorry Square, but if you spell it this way there's no ambiguity! 

Speaking of fighting ambiguity, the international date standard is YYYY-MM-DD.  Benefits:

• Never wonder if 11-04-09 was in 2011, 2004, or 2009.  Or 1909 for that matter.
• Your files are automatically sorted chronologically.
• People in Europe understand it just as well as in the USA.

OK this post is a bit of fluff but Square doesn't seem to choose either of these options by default so I figured I'd challenge them!  Fight me, Square!
