Can't send an email or test email (newsletter) because no matter what address I use, it will not verify, so I have to keep going back and fill in all of the footer information over and over. It rejects my account's email as well.
Can someone explain what is going on?
Also, it says that the social icon buttons have an invalid link. I may not be surprised because I've encountered a lot of '404' messages on Square's site.
Is anybody home here?
Hello there @Ro_Jo
Sorry to hear about this experience. Have you raised this with our Marketing team? Our Support team would be able to look into this with you! When you have a moment, please reach out directly by logging into your Square account and heading here.
Hello. Thank you for the reply. How do I raise issue with "marketing"? Now I can't log in. Fortunately I had another browser opened that was logged in, so I'm assuming if I log out that I would then be locked out. This is getting crazy. I'm not going to purchase a hosting plan if I can't even test the email (newsletter). Also, I could not embed code in the email, as I do in the regular editor. I see no where in the Square back-end for my account to look at my log-in credentials, other than entering information for a store, which I don't have. It appears to me that you somehow have to validate the email for my account? What is going on? I called for support, but no one answers the phone!
Hello there @Ro_Jo, I am sorry you are still having issues testing your newsletter. The best way to address is as @JJ_ mentioned above by our Marketing Team. You can do so at 1-855-700-6000, or squ.re/contactsqsupport. Thank you for working with us to resolve this.
For God's sake!!!! Square bought Weebly and the Weebly dashboard tools DO NOT WORK! Why didn't they disable them? I wasted F***ing hours to build something I can't use. You have to do this on Square's portal and pay them! Some really horrible communication here. I am disgusted....
Thank you. Please read the post. You can not market from the Weebly dashboard; it must be done at Square. Why they left the apps still usable and available on Weebly is disgusting oversight by Square and a waste of pour time building something that can't be used. This has really made us think about if we want to buy hosting from Weebly. Yes, I called Square, was transferred four times, until they told me marketing had to be from Square, not Weebly.
