CANT VERIFY PLEASE HELP

I am a sole trader and I need to have my account set up by the end of next week. I have entered my UK passport details in correctly several times to verify my account to take payments and it keeps saying it can not verify with no other options available. Now I only have one attempt left at this, I'm growing increasingly frustrated with square and I've not even managed to set it up yet

I checked and it looks like you have been verified to take payments.

I am also unable to be verified on my uk passport or Medicare card. I have one attempt left on both and am beyond frustrated. Should I be doing this on a laptop rather than through the app? It doesn’t have an option to upload a photo of the identification, just the written details. Help!
