An invoice shows paid but not showing in my balance.

I sent a customer am invoice and they paid it with their card and it shows on the invoice that it was paid. Bit it's not showing in my balance or account. Why? How long will it take for me to actually receive the money?

Was your issue resolved? I'm going through this now and it's extremely frustrating. It's after hours so I can't contact anyone and I have no idea if the funds are actually deposited to my square account, despite getting a transaction confirmation number, because it's not showing in my balance.

I am having this issue right now. I have already chatted and called Square and they say they have to look into it.  I have been using their invoicing system for over 5 years. This is the 1st time this has happened? Has yours been resolved and if so, how?

All we did was wait till the next morning. We canceled the first transaction and did it over again. That’s how we did ours.

Im have this issue now as well customer paid, he showed me his transanctions and its out of his acct, it shows under my transaction history, but is still not in my balance, I called the 855 number and just get an audio recording, If your dealing with business funds you should have someone available 24/7 its been 6 hours and still nothing!!

Did your balance end up updating?  Also can you try to login in an Incognito browser if it hasn't showed up and see if that makes a difference.

I’m having this issue my customer paid with a credit card over 12 hours ago and it shows paid and processed so checked the transactions and everything is order yet no payment.

Hi everyone. Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I’m not sure how to use this forum properly.

 

I was able to speak to a Square Customer Service Rep and they helped me figure it out. I had a balance left on my Square Working Capital. Right before I sent out that invoice that got paid I had paid off the loan in full, payment made from my bank account. Since my final loan payment and paid invoice happened on the same day, Square hadn’t had the opportunity to take the loan payment out of my bank account yet. So when the invoice got paid, Square automatically deducted the final loan payment from my Square balance (from the paid invoice) instead of deducting from my bank account. That’s why eventhough the customer paid the invoice my Square balance showed a zero balance.

I'm still waiting for my balance to update over 4 hours since the transaction showed as paid and completed. This is ridiculous, I should have stayed with my old provider I am certainly not impressed with stripe so far!
