Be careful looks like square is trying to regain profit off of small business. They are currently holding all the money I have in the world for no apparent reason. I looked it up and thousands of business owners are in the same situation holding people's money for as long as 21 months with no explanation or any help through customer service. They currently have me for over 10k there goes my business I guess and my employees I'm supposed to pay today will suffer as well. Big business doesn't work with small business cash is king.
Hello @Albanyareapro thanks for your post. I'm sorry you're having trouble getting your funds transferred. Have you contacted Square Support? You must contact them, they are the only ones who can look into you account and see what's going on with this issue. I can't speak to your personal account, but in dealing with any business/vendor/customer with your business, you must be your own advocate. Do not let issues go like this and seek a quick resolution, whatever avenue you need to take.
And just speaking personally...if someone or a business started owing me money....I wouldn't keep giving it to them. Square has been WONDERFUL with my small business and I wouldn't consider leaving and going to another company for the same services. However, if Square decided to keep 10k of my money, and I couldn't figure out why...well, again, I would make some changes in my business. Good luck to you and I hope you find a speedy resolution to this matter.
I'm sorry to hear this is happening. Like @HC_Charlie has said definitely call and talk to a customer service rep in Square. usually there's some sort of fraud detected, or possible fraud and they're doing it to protect you and others. They should be able to give you the reason.
