If i input my partner 'SSN ,there would have any effect on him? like his tax affair and credit investigation? And if our account get in trouble ,would he take any responsibility ? And How did it affect him?
@jackkkyy I won't mince words here, but if you are asking this question, then you should know that it is wrong without his express permission to do so. If you use someone's social security number, especially for a service provider that can incur charges, you are committing fraud.
This is most commonly seen in identity theft cases. Just get your partner's permission in writing.
The direct answer is yes, it could affect him, his credit, and could land you in jail. Don't risk it, do the right thing the right way. Square does not play around and anytime you have a situation dealing with credit cards and other peoples money, you will be liable.
Yes, there would be issues that will arise from using someone else's SSN on their taxes. None of this sounds good when you are asking about using someone else's SSN and also asking what will happen if your account gets in trouble.
It is identity theft to use someone else's personal information and there are many laws regarding that.
There is no reason to use someone else's info to open an account and only bad things can come of it.
