Why Modifiers for the Services don't have a time assosiated with them?

I'm wondering why Modifiers for the Services do not have time associated with them?

When I convert the product to a Service through the Appointments, new Service is always have time associated. There is also a Variations available which also have time associated.

If I have a basic Service that the customer can book online, I created a few Add-Ons for it to be able to upsell. But now, the add-on only have a price associated with it which is good, but as it is a Service Add-On, it increases the time I spend with the customer, which is not reflected when booking a Add-On (Modifier).

Oh, by the way, forgot to mention that the Customer doesn't see any Modifiers when booking online through the Appointments. Why??? Only during the checkout when customer is paying, I can see those modifiers in my POS. But with Products, all modifiers are visible online when the customer purchases the product.
