Square POS Linked to square terminal receipts

Hello, this may be a silly question but I am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.

I use a square POS system for restaurants and have a handheld square terminal for portable transactions. How ever when the receipt prints after the card transaction with the terminal it prints the entire bill with each item on it. Is there any way to turn off this feature that prints every item? We already provide them with a receipt from the main POS with a detailed item list.

Welcome to the Community, @bm4455 - 

There is a setting on your receipts you can changes, so you don't have the item description showing on there too. It will just show the item name.

Check on your Dashboard > Account & Settings > Business > Receipts > Item.
