I noticed this was posted one other time but I feel my issue is slightly, but similar, different.
We have 2 POS machines in one location. Admissions and Giftshop. Each product is added to a category (admissions, Giftshop, concerts, donations are the parent categories). For reconciliation purposes I need to know the sales for each category - the fees for that category. Currently I'm mainly searching through transactions but this isn't long term.
So I need help. Currently we use the admissions pos purely for admissions. The Giftshop has Giftshop, concerts and donations. We do a cash slip form everyday to say X pos made X sales. But we need the category sales minus the fees. Solution?

Within your Reports on your Square Dashboard, you should be able to view this information by category.
To do so, please follow these steps:
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Reports > Sales > Category sales.
Use the date selector tool to refine a date range and select the relevant filters to view your report.

Category sales doesn't tell me the fees per that category. I need to be able to see the true net collected amount.
Net sales on square is very flip flop, sometimes it is a true net sales sometimes its not.
I understand, @kcoombes0. I'm sorry that my initial suggestion wasn't able to help you. I checked with our Reporting team and they said that to access the fee information, you can group it by device within your Sales Summary.
