Editing email notifications?

When I first started with Square Appointments, and started to send myself test appointments to send to email and text.

And in the confirmation email, where is says "Where" it used to always say,

My business name

My business address

My phone number

under there., which was perfect! That's exactly what I wanted it to say!

Now, all of a sudden it changed that feature to say, "We'll call you at >their phone number<"

Not sure how, or why it changed all of a sudden. It pretty much seemed to have happened right after I tried to sink my google calendar with Square calendar. -- I deactivated the sink back to normal and it didn't change the "Where" it still says, "We'll call you at."

I don't want to call them, or do any calling, I just want it to say my business name, address and my phone number again!

How can I change it back! HELP! : )

I've tried everything!!

Solution

NEVERMIND!! I found out how to change it!!!

It's under "Calendar and Booking"

and then under "Appointment Preferences"

and then under "Where do you accept appointments"

and choose "At my business!"

I remember now, I had changed it to "Phone Only!" So that's why it was saying that I will call them! : )

But thank you for your help!!! : )

Hey @eyecandybys! 👀🍬

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community and welcome! 🌠

I know you said you've tried everything, but just to be sure, have you done the folllowing?

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab of your Appointments Dashboard.

  2. Select Communications > click the toggle to turn the feature on or off.

  3. Select the delivery method (email and/or text message), and when you’d like these to be sent out.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

You should be able to edit the content of the email notifications from there. Please let me know if I've misunderstood your question or if this doesn't resolve the issue. Thank you! ❄️

Okay well, for one I did not know that all that email content was all in there so thank you so much!!!

But, I don’t seem to see an area where it allows me to change or choose the “Where” area in the confirmation emails.

So I’m not sure of my question was understood 😞

So when I create an appointment in the calendar (a test appt to myself (to another email different than the one for my square account) in this case), and in the email confirmation I receive for the appointment…

It has...

WHEN - (the time and date of appt)

WHERE

WHAT - (the type of service)

And under the “WHERE” it says, “We’ll call you at (and then the customers phone number)

But I want it to say my....

”Business Name

“My business Address”

”My business phone number)

and it did have that option when I first started my account a month ago or so.

but now, it’s changed all of a sudden and it’s saying (the above mentioned) “We’ll call you at”

Why did that change all of a sudden??? Weird! I didn’t change anything.

So I want it to say my Business info again!!

so how o I change it back to say that! 🙂
