self serve orders printing twice

Does anyone know how to stop self serve orders printing 2 duplicate tickets?

Hey @Thj, thanks for flagging this! There are a few things I'd like to check in regards to this:

  • Is this happening on an iPad, an Android tablet or a different mobile device?
  • Are duplicate tickets being printed from the same printer or different printers? Is there only one printer station enabled for printing online orders?
  • Does the duplicate ticket get print at the same time or is it printing a duplicate ticket every time you start the app? 
  • Is there any pending update for the Square Point of Sale app and the operating software on the device?

If possible, you can also try deleting and recreating the printer station to see if that will help with the duplicate printing. If that doesn't help, please let me know. It might require additional investigating from our team,

Hi @Thj yes, I can tell you.

On the iPad which you have configured for self serve/online orders (you must only have one), switch it back to the

previous Square POS. I dont have the ipad in front of me but it is in 'settings' of the POS.

Once I did this, it fixed my issue of getting 2 x tickets for online orders!
